The challenge
What was going wrong
A government organisation in Abu Dhabi required a modern data and analytics platform to consolidate fragmented information, improve executive reporting and establish stronger data governance. Information was distributed across departmental databases, spreadsheets, applications and reporting tools, creating inconsistent reporting, delayed management information, duplicate data preparation, siloed departmental analytics and unclear data ownership.
Our approach
What we built

Ran a data landscape assessment identifying business-critical data sources, existing reports and dependencies, data-quality issues, duplicate datasets, ownership gaps and priority management dashboards.

Built a Fabric architecture incorporating OneLake, lakehouse architecture, data pipelines, data engineering and transformation, semantic models, Power BI, role-based access, data lineage and monitoring.

Worked with stakeholders to establish a governance model — data owners, data stewards, classification rules, access policies, data-quality controls, reporting standards and platform operating procedures.

Developed priority executive dashboards to give leadership more timely, consistent and trusted information.
