The challenge
What was going wrong
A diversified retail and fast-moving consumer goods organisation required an enterprise AI adoption strategy covering corporate teams, sales, procurement, supply chain, marketing and customer operations. Teams spent significant time preparing sales reports, reviewing inventory data, drafting marketing material, consolidating supplier communication and searching across multiple knowledge repositories — and the customer wanted to introduce Copilot while preventing uncontrolled agent creation and inconsistent access to business data.
Our approach
What we built
- 01
Ran use-case discovery workshops across sales, marketing, merchandising, procurement, supply chain, finance, HR, customer service, store operations and executive management, assessing each for value, data readiness, complexity and security risk.
- 02
Enabled Microsoft 365 Copilot for role-specific scenarios including sales-performance summarisation, management-report preparation, campaign-content generation, supplier-communication drafting and executive presentation development.
- 03
Designed a Copilot Studio agent ecosystem for product and catalogue information, store operations, procurement policies, supplier onboarding, marketing-content assistance and customer-service knowledge.
- 04
Introduced formal agent governance covering agent request and approval, environment strategy, maker permissions, connector controls, data access, ownership, lifecycle management and retirement.
The outcome
What changed
- Faster access to product and operational knowledge and improved consistency of internal communications.
- Reduced repetitive administrative effort and accelerated content preparation.
- Better support for sales and customer-service teams and improved governance of custom agents.
- A reusable portfolio of retail-focused AI scenarios and stronger alignment between AI initiatives and business priorities.
